Josh, founder of WiltshireTech

Who you'll be dealing with

Hello, I'm Josh

I run WiltshireTech on my own from East Wiltshire. I have a Computer Science degree from UWE Bristol, and I set this up to do the sort of technology help I'd want my own family to be able to call on.

You get the same person every time. I'll explain what I'm doing in plain English, and if something isn't worth paying me to fix, I'll say so.

  • Local and independent — not a call centre
  • Home visits across Wiltshire
  • You'll know the cost before I start
  • You'll never be asked for banking passwords or PINs

Help at home

Everyday technology, sorted

You don't need to know what's wrong before you get in touch. Describe it however makes sense to you.

Computers

New computer setup, slow machines, software problems, moving files across and general help getting things working.

Phones & tablets

Setting up a new phone, moving photos and contacts over, getting email working and making the screen easier to read.

Printers

Connecting a printer, printing from a phone or tablet, scanning documents and working out why it's stopped.

Wi-Fi & internet

Devices that won't connect, weak signal in parts of the house, new router setup and connections that keep dropping.

Smart TVs & devices

Getting a new TV set up, signing into streaming services, connecting speakers and making the remote make sense.

Email & online accounts

Email setup, locked-out accounts, keeping track of passwords safely and spotting messages that aren't what they claim.

For small businesses

Practical technology for small businesses

Websites, systems, IT and automation — without the cost or complexity of a large agency.

Websites

Modern websites that help customers find you, understand what you do and get in touch.

Business automation

Connect your systems and cut out repetitive admin — enquiries recorded, confirmations sent, data where you need it.

Custom systems

Job tracking, bookings, quotes and stock — for when spreadsheets have started getting in the way.

IT support

Computers, business email, Microsoft 365, cloud storage and the day-to-day problems that stop work.

Email & cloud setup

Proper business email addresses, shared files that work from anywhere and backups that actually run.

Technology advice

A straight answer on what's worth buying, what isn't, and what to do next — before you spend anything.

On that page: three working demos you can use yourself — a website, a booking system and the dashboard behind them.

Costs

Roughly what it costs

Prices depend on the work required. You'll always know the cost before work begins.

From £40

Home visits

Includes the first hour and travel within the local area. If a job needs longer, we agree that before I carry on.

From £50/hour

Business IT support

On-site or remote support for small business computers, email and networks.

From £500

Websites

A straightforward business site starts here, quoted as a fixed price once we've talked through the pages and what it needs to do.

Added functionality — online booking, quote forms, custom systems and automation — is quoted per project.

Where I work

Based in East Wiltshire, covering the wider Wiltshire area

Home visits across the county and the surrounding villages. If you're a little further out, ask — it's usually still fine, and I'll tell you honestly if it isn't.
